    What size storage unit do you need?
    That depends on what you need to store. Our units start at 20 sq ft, which is about the size of a small shed, and go up to 320 sq ft, roughly the size of a large garage. If you need more space, you can rent more than one storage unit. View our different size storage units.
    Can you live in or run a business in a storage unit?
    No, you’re not legally allowed to live in a storage unit. You can store your furniture in a storage unit when you’re between homes but you can’t live there.

    You also can't run a business from a storage unit or use it as an office. You can use it to store business items and stock. 
    Do self-storage units have electricity?
    Some of our indoor storage units have electrical points. Please request this when booking.
    Do I need to provide a padlock?
    Yes. We do sell them for our indoor units.
    What is the biggest size storage unit?
    Our largest self storage unit is 140 sq ft –10ft wide and 14 ft high. This is about the size of a large garage.
    How long can you rent self-storage for?
    There is no limit on how long you can rent for, as long as you keep up payments. You’ll get a 10% discount when you pay for 6 months up front and a 20% discount if you pay for a year up front. If you want to rent for longer, contact us directly and we will organise something for you.
    How secure are self-storage units?
    Our units are very secure. We have CCTV on all our units. Access is limited to those who have storage there and each unit has a lock that is only openable by the owner. Read about all our storage security systems.
    When can I access my self-storage units?
    You can access your units any time you want – 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.
    Can you store a car in a storage unit?
    Yes, we offer specialist vehicle storage units.
    Can I book at storage unit today, without reserving space?
    Yes! All you need to do is bring two proofs of id and address with you (utility bill, bank statement etc). One of our members of staff will then help you fill in the storage licence agreement and take payment and then that’s it – the space is yours for as long as you need it. If you would like to reserve a space, you can do so free of charge by speaking to our staff, just give us a call.
    What if I have under or over-estimated the amount of storage needed?
    We will be on hand to provide advice on the day of your move and will change your booking to suit your storage requirements (subject to availability) on the day of your move.
