What is considered a long distance move?
That’s up to you. We usually consider anything outside of Yorkshire as long distance, but we’re happy to carry out moves from John O’ Groats and Lands End to Yorkshire.
Are long distances moves expensive?
We charge based on our time, so long distance moves can be more expensive. But, there’s no additional charges for long distance moves. Call us for a full quote today.
How long will my removal take?
There are several factors that affect the time it takes to complete a long distance removal. Obviously, the further we travel the more likely we are going to hit some traffic. But as our vans are tracked, we can update you on any delays. 
Can I move at the weekend?
We are able to carry out your removal at any time that is convenient for you. We don’t charge any extra for Saturdays but different days and times may carry a premium to reflect the extra cost of staff.
How do I move house with a dog/cat?
It’s best to lock your pet in a single room with the least amount of items to move and clearly label the door with a sticker “Do Not Open’ then when most of the move is complete you can move into another empty room with your pet while the removals team move the last few items from the last room before relocating to your new property.

For long distance moves, if you're transporting pets remember to plan lots of stops for walks, drinks and toilet trips. 
Are my goods insured?
Yes, your goods will be covered by insurance during the removal. During your removal, your goods will be insured up to £50,000 per van. If you require insurance while your goods are in our storage facilities, you can acquire this through insurastore.com. What time will the van arrive?
Generally, our staff start work between six and eight o’clock in the morning. We aim to be at your address between 8:30 am and 9:00 am in the morning. If you are moving long distance we will liaise with you and give you an estimated time of arrival. Sometimes, for many reasons we can be delayed, however, we will always arrive.
